Mao:" I grew up in China and moved to Canada in 20s for university. Growing up, animation was a big part of my life, and embracing cuteness has always been important to me. However, I often felt out of place because I had to hide my love for kawaii to fit in. It was always difficult to find cute items in Canada, which is why my partner Chris and I decided to make our own cute ceramics for everyday use. Our years studying fine art here have honed our artistic skills, allowing us to bring my dream of cute tableware to life. This project quickly gained over 200,000 fans worldwide, and we believe many people crave this "cute power." This has motivated us to pursue this passion full-time."
